As co-creator of the retreat, Raven brings a deeply intentional approach to every detail of the guest experience, thoughtfully designing spaces and programming that foster transformation through the integration of art, nature, and wellness. Her vision has helped shape Raven's Retreat into the Midwest's most soulful creative sanctuary, earning near-perfect ratings across Airbnb, VRBO, and Google. Dustin Weatherby is the Co-Owner and Master Sculptor behind Raven's Retreat Hocking Hills, where his extraordinary artistic vision transforms the entire 58-acre property into a living work of art. As co-creator of the retreat, Dustin has hand-crafted the immersive artistic elements that define the experience, including striking steel sculptures, intricate wood carvings, tile murals, and a stunning black walnut kitchen featured in the Sculptor's Art Lodge. He also performs live sculpture performances for guests, offering a rare and captivating window into his creative process. Dustin's philosophy of eco-conscious, mindful design is woven into every corner of the property, making Raven's Retreat a destination where craftsmanship, sustainability, and nature converge into something truly unforgettable for every guest who visits.
Painting classes at Raven's Retreat are led by master sculptor Dustin Weatherby and run approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours. Published rates are: Solo — $200; Couple — $250; Up to 6 people — $400; Groups of 9 to 18 — $50 per additional person. Sessions are by appointment and can be designed as individual projects or a single shared piece. Raven can help you pair the painting class with other creative or wellness add-ons to shape the experience you have in mind.
